How to Order

I craft your poem from the words you give me.

• Process

The process begins when you place your order. We then schedule a conversation that takes place by phone or email. If you live near or plan to visit Asheville, NC we can arrange to meet in person.

During our conversation, I ask you several thoughtful questions to help you put your memories into words. The next step: I create a draft of the poem and send it to you for your comments. Then I incorporate your suggestions into another draft to create a poem that pleases you entirely.

You’re welcome, of course, to share the poem with friends and family. As author of the work, I retain copyright to the poem.

• Cost

The current price for a Memorial Poem is $180. A 50% deposit is payable when you place your order; the balance is due upon the poem’s completion and your acceptance. Extra charges apply if I travel to meet you in person.
